One may argue that he or she can do multiple activities at the same time but that is really not true. Multitasking is somewhat a dangerous term if not understood correctly.

What other people are doing is a trap. A trap where the seed of fear of not taking risks is planted and watered. This is one of the biggest thing you need to quit in order to succeed in your dreams. Most people will hate you at first for being different but don’t worry, you can gain them back once you’re at the position where you want to be, successful.
Successful people dream big and think big. They do things other people aren’t willing to do. They love taking risks and experiment on new things to the point that they look weird sometimes. Don’t get me wrong here. You’re not getting away from the norm just because you want to. You’re doing it because you understand the reasons why it is better to be different.
Quit doing things that are far from your goals
In order to expedite your success, you need to focus doing things that are aligned with your goals. You have to quit doing things that only wastes your precious time. Stop playing games, going to party, and all those non-productive things you do. Instead, create a laser focused routine that will accelerate your success much faster.
People love procrastinating, a bad habit people need to quit. This is one of the major reason why majority of the people are poor. Trash all the non sensible reasons in your head that only lead you to not workout your goals.
Having a sense of responsibility and self discipline can eliminate procrastination easily. If your goal is important that your poor family members will benefit from it, will you still procrastinate? To quit from expecting immediate results, first thing to do is to teach yourself how to increase your tolerance in hard situations. Try to be calm in case of traffic jam, bad weather, hard-to-be-with co-workers, when others are blaming you, and etc. There are a lot of aspects and situations in life where you can exercise and increase your tolerance.
Next is try to write a plan and follow it. Most people are being impatient because they don’t have the plan, the overview of how long the actual time frame they need to wait. By simply having a concrete plan with timeline, the right expectations will be set.
If you want to be successful, you need to learn how to delay gratification.
