“I don’t how to write codes like you do. Blogging is not for me.” This is another common reason I hear from people why until today they’re not starting their blogs. Most people who ask me about blogging are aware of its benefits and how it can make them live the lifestyle they want but this “coding” thing prevents them to start taking action.
If you still don’t know what you can get from blogging and all the amazing benefits it can give you, better read Reasons why you need to make a blog today.
Let me tell you that I know a lot of people who don’t even know how to write codes but are earning big in this industry.
That’s it! End of the story. Start your blog now! 😀
When I was just starting like you, I also thought I need to learn how to write codes before I can start blogging. Well, this is true maybe around 20 years ago where everything on the web are nothing but static sites and everything is hard-coded. You really need to manually code your blog in html, css and stuffs like that.
Again, that’s around 20 years ago..
But a lot of things have changed. You can now create your very own website in under 30 minutes. If you are looking for a step-by-step procedure on how to create your blog, I’ve written an article for people like you so you won’t get lost. You can check this article: How To Create a WordPress Blog on Bluehost (Step by Step).
Blogging is truly heaven sent for me. To give you some idea, here’s a preview of my daily earnings with my blogs.
I selected this part of my earnings because this was when I’m almost 3 weeks out of town yet my blogs are consistently earning these figures. If you want more, there’s a more updated Adsense earnings in this post.
If you want something like this in the near future, I strongly suggest to start your blog as soon as possible. Of course, there will be struggles along the way but that’s just fine, it’s always part of every success stories. 🙂
With proper planning and execution, you can make a profitable blog within a year. If you have your current job, you can workout your blog 2 hours a day after you’re done with your main source of income. It’s very doable.
Going back to our topic..
To remove your fear about the coding part in blogging, here are some more things you need to understand and consider:
Drag and Drop Editors
I started building websites coding everything from scratch. Today, there’s a lot of drag and drop editors you can use! You don’t need to worry about the technicalities of coding things here and there. You just need to understand how to click, drag, drop, upload stuffs, and you’re done!
Building web pages back then takes hours of coding to finish. With a ready made drag&drop plugin, you can make beautiful pages in just a matter of minutes.
I even use these drag and drop plugins with my web development services. With typical websites, I use less than 20% of coding with my development services. Why will I spend hours of coding if I can do a better job with higher efficiency with page builders?
You Can Outsource
I know many people who can code and use page builders. But because they don’t have the time of setting up and creating things themselves, they outsource everything from the development of their blogs up to creating contents and marketing stuffs.
I know a lot of you will not go this path but just in case you can afford to outsource things and you don’t want to worry about the technical stuffs, this is an option for you. Just make sure to get everything well documented so you’re fully aware of what is happening with your website.
Ready Made Blogging Platforms
Like what I’ve said, back then, websites are coded from scratch. Today, there are a lot of website platforms you can use in just couple of clicks. After all, your ultimate goal is not to create websites but to create content and monetize.
The most popular platform people use today is WordPress. It can be used for simple applications such as blog sites and even up to complicated sites like e-commerce and other custom web based applications. Basically, WordPress is a one-stop solution to almost any website needs you can think of.

It is a lot harder to do calculus than it is to create a blog. LOL. If you can solve calculus problems, you can do blogging too. (I’m actually thinking why am I adding this calculus thing here but I’ll just leave it here. :D)
So that’s it!
I hope I’ve made you realize that you don’t really need to learn coding stuffs to start blogging. My current blog earnings are growing every month because that’s how blogging works. Once you get the momentum, there’s no other direction but going up.
You don’t need to worry if you still don’t know much. Just like what I always say, you don’t need perfect skills to get started but you need to get started to perfect your skills. You just need to take action.
I’ve been in this business for quite some time now and I can say that what you learn from experiences are much valuable than what others can tell you. Just get your hands dirty ahead of time, experiment, fail, and succeed.
